R!WC only exists because Chris O'Brien wouldn't let me touch the espresso machine when Coffee Cycle opened for at least six months...
Also, his willingness to share coffee education, teach me about flavors (like blueberry!), and give me a voice in his Pacific Beach coffee shop. It is where I was first introduced to great coffee and, more importantly, where I was first introduced to the community of coffee. It is where I learned about how coffee is produced and how that contrasts with how we value coffee. When I started R!WC, Chris was my first call, and he spent hours on video chats with me, talking coffee.
Now (finally) he's expanded the Coffee Cycle empire from Pacific Beach to his dream spot in Ocean Beach. I'm excited to see it. See you there.

It’s the last chance for the Pink Drink! Hustle to Ascend Coffee Roasters.

Affiliate marketing: I don’t do a lot of affiliate marketing. This particular product, the Simply Good Coffee Brewer, is one I’ve agreed to promote because I use it almost daily. The original review was written before accepting any sort of affiliate marketing payments. If you click through using our links and end up purchasing a brewer, it will help support R!WC.
