Definition: OCS - OCS is an acronym for Office Coffee Sales, a form of vending sales providing coffee to office parks and businesses.
Metropolises private labeling program came out of a need they had for themselves. They weren’t finding another company offering the same opportunities, in particular at the entry level, in the marketplace.
A private labeler has already investmented into the needed equipment and they’ve already worked through a lot of the hiccups, the mistakes, the potentially costly setbacks, so that you won’t have too.
Before meeting with your potential private label partner, be prepared with your idea, your brand, and your plan for sales.
It is a back and forth partnership where you, the client, is in control of the final product, but in collaboration with Metro’s expertise.
When moving into the wholesale retail arena, be prepared to really consider your margins and the quantity you’ll need to move in order to make the investment worth it.
It isn’t the same math as selling coffee at the cafe or as a roaster, so what is it, that sets your brand apart?
