In November of 2021, I interviewed Taylor Fields, the Founder & CEO of Nostalgia Coffee. At the time, Nostalgia was based out of a mobile coffee cart, and I only had one podcast–Roast! West Coast! Taylor and I covered a lot of ground in that chat, including her decision to leave a stable career in accounting, Nostalgia’s future location, and the new products she was working on. We discussed how being an entrepreneur can strain a relationship.
To this day, I think it is one of the most enjoyable conversations I’ve been lucky enough to have on this podcast.* Taylor and Nostalgia Coffee have been on a rocket ship of a trajectory since then. They officially launched their tea bag coffee product, have won several prestigious coffee awards, and just this month, Taylor was included in Inc.’s Female Founders list.

This seemed like the perfect time to revisit that original conversation. The seeds leading to the success Taylor and her company are seeing today were sowed back then.
