“Thank you for being here.”
It’s a simple statement, but one that has been sustaining Olivier and Andrea as they’ve been hitting the picket lines to provide iced coffee for striking WGA picketers. Their operation is simple. Everything is transported in the trunk of Andrea’s car, and they set up a pop-up table at their scheduled location.
Within the first hour, Andrea’s former boss purchased coffees to be given away, launching their sponsorship program, which has since been utilized by supporters and celebrities like Eva Longoria alike. They’ve been featured in Thrillist and The Hollywood Reporter. Happy iced coffee drinkers are shouting them out on Twitter.
Sometimes an idea is just an idea. Sometimes an idea is magic.

In this podcast pop-in, Olivier and Andrea share their inspiration for launching Dean’s Coffee, what they’d do if the strike ended tomorrow, and why iced coffee.
